Not here, but on the farm up in Maine. Whenever I think about future winters I envision a scene reminiscent of Little House on the Prairie with the family sitting around the wood stove reading and quilting. I also see myself trudging out through the snow to feed and water the sheep and cows, but I have always wanted a farm and am certainly not going to let a little cold weather deter me from my goal.

We have built two homes in the country and have loved being in the peace and quiet!
A little cold and snow would not have deterred Ma Ingalls...and I am sure you will enjoy it all.

Who takes your pictures in Maine when you are in Virginia.
The builder takes photos and sends them to us every few weeks. It helps keep us up to date.
These sorts of things were certainly more difficult in the days before digital photos and the internet!
